1. What we collect

If you subscribe to the newsletter: We collect your email address. That's it. We use it to send the Stacklist newsletter. We don't share it with anyone else.

If you submit a tool or deal: We collect the information you submit in the form — tool name, URL, your name and email if you provide them. We use this to review your submission. We don't use it for marketing.

Browsing data: We use privacy-first analytics to understand which pages are visited and where traffic comes from. This data is anonymised and aggregated — it cannot be linked to individual visitors. We do not use Google Analytics or any tracking that requires a cookie consent banner.

Cookies: We use one session cookie to keep you logged in if you have an account. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

2. Affiliate links

Some links on Stacklist are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This does not affect the price you pay, and it does not affect which tools we list or recommend. Affiliate links are disclosed on any page where they appear.

3. Newsletter

If you subscribe to the Stacklist newsletter, your email is stored with our email provider. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. We will never send you anything other than the newsletter you signed up for.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data with the following third parties only as necessary to run the service:

  • Email provider: Your email address, if you've subscribed to the newsletter

  • Analytics provider: Anonymised, aggregated browsing data — no personal information

  • Form provider: Submission data from tool and deal submission forms

5. Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@stacklist.co and we'll respond within 7 days.

6. Children

Stacklist is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll note the updated date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced in the newsletter.
